Solid waste management is described as the discipline concerned with the generation, storage, collection, transfer and transport, processing, and disposal of solid waste in a manner that is environmentally friendly.

Air pollution is caused by industrial pollutants, vehicular emissions, and the increased usage of fossil fuels.

Water pollution is defined as the introduction of dangerous compounds into rivers, oceans, lakes, and ponds that alter the physical, chemical, or biological quality of the water.
